I am a 40ish (well a lady should never say) Irish expat with a husband, three kids and an ancient dog trying very hard to avoid becoming “a lady who lunches”

This blog is about surviving the chaos that is everyday Cairo. You need to take a deep breath, head out with an open mind and ensure your sense of humor is on full alert just to get you through the day. Some of my adventures may be a little of beat but take it all with a pinch of salt for it’s all very tongue in cheek

I am Erika from TravelerVoice, a new social network for travel bloggers.

I just found your blog and I really like how you described your travel story in Egypt with assertive comments! It’s exactly the kind of writing we are looking for our Living abroad section, please xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am looking forward to hearing from you 🙂

I am the Content Editor for BlogExpat and truly enjoy your blog. We have a series of
expat interviews and I was hoping you would be interested. It would entail questions
about being an expat, a few
pictures, and it would link back to your blog.

If you are interested, just let me know and I will send the questionnaire. In any
case, keep up the great work.
